The other day, I was talking with a TCD designer about how more and more people are mastering TCD. You can see it in the sites of TCD users that come through support or on the TCD MUSEUM site. There are so many wonderful websites out there.
I don’t mean to sound condescending at all. In the past, it was just about swapping out logos and headers on WordPress themes, but now there’s a focus on the header images, incorporating videos, and really thinking about how to appeal to the viewer. It’s interesting to see how users’ awareness has shifted, and there are more resources for site building.
The TCD demo sites are meticulously crafted to serve as examples for users. We carefully consider not just the images but also the copywriting from scratch. The copy is written to resonate with the viewer, emphasizing key points and simplicity. So, it’s a great honor when people mimic the demo sites, including the copy and the flow.
Of course, it’s also fine to build with your own style, and for power users, they’ve really infused their own uniqueness. But starting with imitation is often a good idea. Then, you can tweak and customize things to your own taste. That’s the approach we take.
While there are various platforms like YouTube and Instagram, blogs and company websites are becoming increasingly important as flagship platforms. Because others focus on social media and platforms, having your own website becomes crucial for maintaining uniqueness and stable profitability. This is an undeniable fact based on past trends.
Therefore, TCD will continue to create WordPress themes that offer innovation, surprise, and fun for users, as mentioned earlier.
The evolution of websites will never stop as long as the internet exists. We will continue to pour our passion into it, even in our small way.
