The 110th theme by TCD: the WordPress theme MONAD.
The name “MONAD” is derived from the concept of an indivisible unit, representing the smallest building block of existence, including human beings. Philosophically, the human mind is also considered a monad. This concept inspired the creation of this theme, which is specifically designed for mental health clinics and psychiatric institutions.
Why focus on mental health and psychiatry? Because the number of psychiatric patients in Japan has been on the rise. According to data from the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare, while the number of inpatients has been decreasing, cases of depression and mood disorders are increasing.
Factors contributing to this increase include:
- A rise in mental health consultations and visits due to the impact of COVID-19 around 2020.
- Growing awareness of mental health, leading to reduced stigma around seeking psychiatric care.
- Improved diagnosis of conditions like mild depression and anxiety disorders that were previously overlooked.
These changes underscore the growing importance of creating a strong online presence to stand out in an increasingly competitive field. For many patients, a hospital’s website is the first point of contact, especially when they are feeling anxious or vulnerable.
What these patients seek most is comfort and reassurance.
This theme was developed to help create an online presence that conveys, “This hospital feels right for me.”
With MONAD, you can create a website that reassures patients, builds trust, and makes them feel confident about visiting your clinic.
