Developer blogs, also called tech blogs or engineer blogs, are run by engineers.
big companies also operate developer blogs, but they are not well known to the general public.
Examples are shown below post.
・What is a developer blog?
The developer blog shares internal findings, techniques, or solutions to stumbles during the development process. These specific problems and solutions are an asset on the web. It is quite common for engineers to Google a problem and stumble upon a developer blog that solves the problem.
Developer blogs are actually useful to the world because they are the common property of society.
We do not operate a developer blog, but we do operate a similar site. It is a website called “TCD LABO” where we share how to use and customize our products. The site has about 60,000 PV every month, so we assume that it is of some use to you.
When you look up programming-related information on Google, you only find systematic and general information. Sometimes there’s just not enough information to use that in the field. In such cases, information with specific solutions to problems is really valuable.
Also, it is a good experience (especially for young engineers) for engineers to run a blog. Just because you are an engineer, if you cannot communicate, you will not be very useful in the field.
Blogging is a great way to develop your “ability to communicate” because you are always writing articles with the reader in mind. In other words, they may grow up to be engineers with good communication skills.
Although it does not directly lead to company sales, a developer blog has many advantages that can be listed. Please give it a try.
